UNIT". Symptom: 1) In the DSP processing mode, noise occurs from the speaker. 2) In the DSP processing mode, the audio signal is not output from the speaker. 3) In the DSP processing mode, the noise is output, and the audio signal is not output afterwards. 4) When the HDMI input is used, the video signal is not output Note: A slight amount of pressure on the HDMI board may temporarily restore normal operation. Solution: The "Board to board connector" becomes a loose/intermittent connection because of excessive flux. MODIFICATION: 1) Remove the Top cover. 2) Remove 3 screws on the Back Panel side where the "HDMI P.W.B. UNIT" is fixed. 3) The wires inserted in the "HDMI P.W.B. UNIT" are removed. (4 connectors: CP904, CP405, CP406 and CP404) 4) The "HDMI P.W.B. UNIT" is pulled out from the "CPU P.W.B. UNIT" and using a commercially available flux remover to clean the connectors. Insert the "HDMI P.W.B. UNIT" into the "CPU P.W.B. UNIT" then remove and re-insert the boards repeatedly five times to clean the connections. If flux remover is not available just pull the "HDMI P.W.B. UNIT" out from the "CPU P.W.B.
